GEOvet Veterinary Practice Manager – Full Time

Busselton, Capel, Nannup.

GEOvet is a busy, progressive mixed animal practice servicing both Small animal and Large animal clients. We are committed to providing exceptional Veterinary care with compassion.

Established for over 30 years, GEOvet is an independent, locally owned veterinary practice with clinics in Busselton, Capel and Nannup. We are a highly qualified team of experienced clinicians and veterinary nurses.

GEOvet is looking for a driven, enthusiastic, preferably experienced Practice Manager with a focus on Human Resources. You will be working alongside our Clinical Team to deliver excellent care for our patients.

We seek a Manager who possesses strong leadership, team management and excellent communication skills; is able to manage multiple stakeholders, including veterinarians, nurses, suppliers, and animals and their owners.

Experience in marketing and customer relationship management is highly desirable.

Key duties performed by the GEOvet Veterinary Practice Manager:

Human Resources:

· Recruitment, employment interviews, onboarding.

Manage Staff rosters, payroll, leave entitlements.

HR processes and procedures, including performance evaluations and goal-setting.

Develop and implement HR policies and procedures. Promote and foster team morale.

Practice Operations:

Administration: correspondence with suppliers, managing stock levels, medical supplies, stationery and consumables

Collaborate with Veterinarians to optimize daily workflow and patient care. Ensuring all Practices are adequately staffed for efficiency and patient confidence.

Assist with budget management, financial reporting, as required.

Ensure accurate record keeping and safety compliance.

Liaise with IT consultant in the selection of equipment and information systems training.

Culture and Development:

· Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.

· Manage staff meetings, team-building and continuing education requirements.

· Support and encourage a culture of excellence in patient care, customer service and communication.

Qualifications and Attributes:

· Prior experience in Veterinary Practice management and operations. Experience in a mixed animal practice, is highly desirable.

· Prior experience in HR is preferred.

· Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.

· Ability to multitask and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
