About Us
Motive Group is a fast-growing power systems company specialising in diesel generators, battery energy storage, and field service solutions. We work with some of Australia’s largest construction, industrial, and infrastructure clients to deliver reliable, clean, and intelligent power solutions.
We are now looking for an experienced and proactive Accounts & Operations Administrator to join our team and take ownership of our back office operations, supporting our technicians and management team as we continue to grow.
The Role
You will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of accounts, inventory, and operational support, including:
MUST-HAVE: Simpro and Xero Experience to succeed in this role.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
Invoicing, payment follow-ups, reconciliation
Supplier management and purchase orders
Xero accounting software management
Inventory & Stock Control
Managing incoming/outgoing stock
Coordinating with technicians on tools, parts, and supplies
Updating stock in Simpro
Administration Support
Managing job bookings and scheduling
Assisting with compliance, insurance, and safety documentation
Supporting our Operations Manager and Managing Director
Who You Are
We’re after someone who is:
Experienced in accounts administration and inventory control
Confident with software like Xero, Simpro, Excel, and email platforms
Reliable and proactive — you don’t wait to be told, you get things done
A clear communicator who can work with both field staff and management
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and accountability
Ideally from a trade, construction, or field service background

Must-Haves
✅ At least 4 years’ experience in accounts and admin
✅ Familiarity with Xero (or similar)
✅ Strong stock/inventory management ability
✅ Australian working rights
