As part of our relaxed but high-performing team, you’ll work closely with our clients to keep their finances running smoothly and accurately, ready for growth.

About the Role

This is a part-time position with flexibility for 15-20 hours per week - ideal for someone looking to keep work/life balance in check.

You’ll be supporting our team and clients by:

Managing accounts payable and receivable

Running payrolls for a range of clients

Performing accurate and timely bank account reconciliations

Posting journals and supporting month-end processes

Using Xero and MYOB to manage daily transactions and maintain records

Liaising with clients and suppliers with professionalism

Providing financial support to our accountant and collaborating on reporting, forecasting and growth consulting

Helping improve internal processes as part of a collaborative team

Supporting broader business activities beyond finance, including occasional admin tasks and client coordination

This role may have potential to expand to full-time in the future if that aligns with your goals - but your interest (or not) in full-time work will have no bearing on our current hiring decision.

About You

You’re someone who thrives on structure and accuracy but also enjoys being part of a supportive, flexible workplace. You’ll bring:

• Minimum 3 years experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role

• High-level experience with Xero and M365

• Familiarity with MYOB, HubDoc, Dext, Fathom, NetSuite, Productive, or XBert is a bonus

• A knack for managing time, prioritising tasks, and staying organised

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

• A proactive and friendly approach to client communication

• A Bachelor in Accounting or Finance is desirable but not essential

Remuneration

$30-40 p/hr, plus super and performance bonuses
