Established in 1969 and we are still today a 100% Australian family-owned business.

We still retain our original retail showroom in the heart of Wangaratta, but today the growth of our Ecommerce business and nationwide freight is the spearhead of everything we do.

About the Role

We're on the hunt for a hands-on Head of Product & Supply Chain to lead our growing team.

You’ll be part of our leadership team, partnering closely with the other Head’s, and reporting to the General Manager.

You will partner at all levels of the business to create and deliver a smart, sustainable supply chain strategy that helps us meet our ambitious growth targets.

What you’ll be accountable for:

End-to-End Product procurement

· Lead our entire supply chain function, quality, and planning.

· Champion operational resilience.

Innovation & Improvement

· Be the driving force behind smart change - operational innovation, process design, and transformation.

Business Planning

· Own supply chain planning, performance metrics, and budgeting. Align it all to our broader business strategy.

Leadership

· Build, inspire, and develop a high-performing team that owns their space, innovates relentlessly, and thrives on accountability.

Stakeholder Engagement

· Collaborate across McPhail’s and beyond – quality, category, suppliers and freight forwarders — to make things happen.

Transformation and change management

· Leverage a WMS, automation, predictive analytics, and emerging technology.
