About the Role:
Curtin University is excited to announce a full-time (1.0 FTE) opening for the position of Planning Coordinator in Learning & Teaching.
This role contributes to the planning, design, and execution of learning and teaching operations across the Schools and the Faculty. A key responsibility of this position is to support the Dean, Directors of Learning & Teaching, Heads of School, and Course Coordinators in areas such as curriculum review and management, accreditation, as well as scheduling and timetabling matters.
The ideal candidate will also assist with various projects and strategic activities under the guidance of the Teaching Support Manager.
Who we are looking for:
- We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of learning and teaching policies and procedures.
- The successful incumbent will provide expert interpretation, advice, and guidance on these policies and possess strong project management skills to effectively coordinate and implement project plans.
- Key qualifications include the ability to gather, analyse, and report on data, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder engagement and report preparation.
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities are essential.
- Ability to contribute effectively within a team environment, including collaborating with colleagues, sharing responsibilities, and supporting collective goals to achieve successful outcomes.
Role Requirements:
- As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered.
