Overview
ECU is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join the Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT) to support the implementation and adoption of key learning technologies under the University’s Curriculum Transformation Program.
The Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT) contributes to the leadership and implementation of strategic teaching and learning and change across the University through collaborative partnerships with Schools and Service Centres. CLT provisions professional learning for all teaching roles in the University to promote evidenced based and scholarly practice. Additionally, CLT leads the implementation of learning technologies across the University, delivery of learning support programs for students, and active support of Schools to deliver best practice curriculum design and assessment.
The successful applicant will have, and be able to meet, the following selection criteria:
- Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline (typically: Education, Instructional Design), and extensive relevant or proven management expertise, OR an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training;
- Experience in successfully designing, developing, facilitating, and evaluating pedagogically-sound programs and resources that inspire, motivate, teach, and support adult learners through a range of delivery modes and models, with a focus on technology-enhanced and online learning;
- Ability to design and deliver professional learning programs in generative artificial intelligence for academic staff to enhance the learning experience and digital productivity;
- Demonstrated record of success in developing and implementing strategies in a multi-campus large organisational context as well as strong presentation and facilitation skills with proven ability to collaborate with and influence different levels of academic and professional staff; and
- Developing and managing projects in response to organisational needs. Involves managing each phase of the project; identifying and resolving issues; sourcing and managing appropriate resources; managing risks; maintaining progress and achieving desired outcomes.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, fixed term position attracts remuneration of $119,069 to $134,108 pa + 17% University superannuation contribution.
