As we expand our footprint on the East Coast, we’re looking for an ambitious and confident Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive our growth forward. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional passionate about property management, sales, and building impactful relationships.
The Role
As our new Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our expansion into NSW, QLD, VIC and SA, traveling across these regions to build a strong client base. This role isn’t just about numbers—it’s about creating lasting connections. You’ll represent Property Assist at industry events, sponsorships, corporate partnerships, and on stage at conferences, positioning our brand as the premier choice for property inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business leads through proactive outreach
- Build a strong pipeline of potential clients (Property Managers), converting leads into long-term partnerships
- Consistently meet and exceed sales and growth KPIs
- Represent Property Assist at industry events, networking functions, and confidently speak at conferences
- Collaborate closely with management to align strategies and drive business goals
- Collaborate closely with industry partners and other service providers
- Support recruitment efforts and take on varied responsibilities to enhance business outcomes
- Maintain communication with existing clients to ensure top-tier service and satisfaction
Requirements:
- Property Management registration (preferred) and a valid driver’s license, with access to your own vehicle
- Proven experience in Business Development or Higher Level Property Management
- Knowledge of property inspection software and systems
- Polished, professional presentation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence to present on stage at conferences and engage with a wide audience
- A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills
- iPhone provided for company use
