We’re seeking a capable and motivated Cost Accountant to take the next step in their finance career, supporting high-value costing, variance, and margin reporting in a dynamic production environment.

💼 About the Role

This is a hands-on, early to mid-level cost accounting role, reporting to the Business Manager - Finance & Administration and working closely with Operations, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams. You'll take ownership of product costing, BOM reviews, cost variance analysis, and inventory reporting — helping us make smarter decisions and improve profitability across the business.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and improve standard cost models

Analyse and report on material, labour and overhead variances

Review and reconcile inventory and work-in-progress (WIP) accounts

Monitor gross margins and highlight cost drivers across products and projects

Support BOM reviews and stock movement integrity

Provide accurate cost input into budgeting, pricing, and forecasting cycles

Partner with Production, Procurement and Commercial teams to improve visibility and accountability

✅ What You’ll Bring

Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance or Commerce

2–4 years' experience in a cost or management accounting role

Strong analytical and Excel skills

Solid understanding of manufacturing or project costing environments

ERP system experience

CA/CPA qualified or actively working towards

A proactive mindset and confident communicator who thrives in a team environment
