About the Role:
You will be the first point of contact for patients and referring doctors, delivering exceptional customer service and administrative support in a busy and fast-paced environment. Your ability to multitask, show empathy, and maintain confidentiality will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the front desk: greeting patients, answering calls, scheduling appointments
• Preparing and managing patient files and records
• Billing and receipting using Medicare, DVA, and private health funds
• Liaising with hospitals, other clinics, and referring GPs
• Assisting with theatre bookings and coordinating specialist calendars
• PA support to surgeon and clinical team with day-to-day administrative duties

About You:

• Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, ideally within a specialist or surgical practice
• Strong knowledge of medical software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
• Well-presented, reliable, and patient-focused
