Brancourt Dairy Australia is a family owned and operated company based in the Newcastle/Hunter Region that has been manufacturing dairy products for 130 years.

We have a great opportunity for someone to join our Admin team as a Payroll and Admin Officer. You will report directly to the Administration Manager and be an integral part of the business and be expected to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Running end-to-end fortnightly payroll for <100 employees (Incl compliance and legislative requirements)

Assisting staff with payroll related queries and concerns

Ensuring month end and EOFY payroll compliance and legislative requirements are processed

Assist with staff recruitment and general HR related tasks including employee onboarding requirements like documentation, inductions, etc

Manage the company’s Learning Management System including all staff training records

Maintain the company’s WHS policies and procedures

Other general duties that may be required and for which you are trained

About you:

Possess strong logical reasoning skills, good written & verbal communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy of work including a high level of numeracy skills

Provide efficient services, exercising discretion, judgement, initiative and confidentiality to support the HR & payroll process.

Demonstrated ability to understand payroll systems and interpret varying industrial agreements

Experience in a similar role

Experience with Microsoft Office, Xero and Tanda would be an advantage, but a good working knowledge of any commercial software would be a good foundation
