Responsibilities:

Monitoring PR Status: Actively tracking open PRs to identify any that are stalled, unassigned, or blocked.

Facilitating Reviews: Gently prompting reviewers and helping to assign PRs to ensure timely feedback.

Promoting Best Practices: Encouraging developers to submit smaller, well-described PRs to speed up reviews, and advocating for consistent testing within PRs.

Identifying Bottlenecks: Analysing reasons why PRs get held up (e.g., lack of reviewers, complex changes, insufficient testing, unclear requirements) and proposing solutions.

Communication and Escalation: Alerting relevant team leads or managers about persistent PR bottlenecks or issues impacting delivery speed.

Coordinating Testing: Ensuring that all necessary testing (unit, integration, manual QA if needed) is completed before a PR is merged. This involves coordinating its execution, not performing the tests themselves.

Metrics Reporting: Tracking key metrics related to PR lead time, review time, and merge frequency to demonstrate improvements.

CI pipeline maintenance: Identifying flaky tests and resolving them quickly to prevent bottlenecks in deployment. Also making recommendations to devOps for CI pipeline improvements.

Managing Heroku Releases: day-time promotions from staging , and once-per-day nightly-staging, as well as keeping the branches in sync
