Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role is focused on ensuring the stability, security, scalability, and efficiency of our cloud infrastructure while supporting CI/CD practices and contributing to automation efforts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with key Azure services including Cosmos DB, IoT Hub, Azure Functions, Entra ID, and Resource Groups, and will be capable of developing C# automation functions to streamline operations and deployments.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management & Maintenance

Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure Azure infrastructure.

Manage and optimize Cosmos DB, IoT Hub, Azure Functions, and other Azure services.

Oversee Resource Groups and enforce structured resource management and tagging standards.

DevOps & CI/CD

Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Automate infrastructure provisioning using ARM/Bicep, Terraform, or similar IaC tools.

Implement and manage Blue/Green deployments to support zero-downtime release strategies.

Security & Access Control

Manage identity and access through Entra ID (Azure AD) and enforce security best practices.

Implement and monitor RBAC policies, conditional access, and audit logging.

Ensure compliance with security frameworks and internal governance.

Monitoring, Logging & Performance

Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting for infrastructure and application health.

Troubleshoot system issues, resolve incidents, and proactively optimize performance.

Automation & Development

Develop custom C# Azure Functions for automation and orchestration of cloud operations.

Write scripts and tools to support developers and system administrators.

Contribute to infrastructure as code and configuration management practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, focused on Azure.

Hands-on experience with:

Cosmos DB, IoT Hub, Azure Functions, Entra ID, and Resource Groups

CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps

Implementing Blue/Green or Canary releases

Strong development skills in C#, particularly for writing and deploying Azure Functions.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., ARM Templates, Bicep, Terraform).

Deep understanding of cloud security best practices, IAM, and compliance.

Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics).

Knowledge of networking concepts such as VNETs, NSGs, Private Endpoints, and DNS.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience in IoT Solutions Architecture and device provisioning via DPS.

Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Kubernetes (AKS), or container orchestration.

Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-104, AZ-305).

Experience with cost optimization and budgeting in Azure.

Understanding of Zero Trust architecture and Secure DevOps practices.
