We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Customer Service Officer to join our Bathurst Branch. This is a part-time 12 month fixed-term opportunity. The role follows a 5-day fortnight schedule, alternating between working Thursdays and Fridays one week, and Wednesday to Friday the next. Your standard hours will be 8:45am to 5:15pm, with a compulsory 1-Week Induction training at full-time capacity in Newcastle.

We’re looking for a dedicated Customer Service Officer who combines patience, resilience, and professionalism to deliver exceptional support. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers — solving problems, answering questions, and building trust through every conversation. What are we looking for?
Previous retail customer service experience (minimum 2 years experience or HSC).
Strong cash handling skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
Engaging approach to customers to be able to quickly identify customer needs and promote appropriate products and services.
Actively listens and responds with empathy while maintaining emotional boundaries.
Proficient computer skills, and the ability to learn new systems.
Effectively manage time, tasks, and priorities during high-volume periods without compromising quality.
Maintains high performance under pressure and collaborates positively with team members.
What will your key responsibilities include?
Act as first point of contact, positively interacting with customers and building strong relationships.
Identifying customer needs and offering appropriate solutions with our comprehensive range of products and services, while striving towards achieving personal targets.
Communicating financial product and regulatory information clearly and confidently.
Navigate systems and processes with accuracy, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
Work collaboratively to contribute to team and corporate performance expectations.
