But did you know we have 23 divisions, 135 sites nationally, employ nearly 3000 people and operate a fleet of over 2300!

We do more than collect the bin from your street we also; convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration and much more . . .

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a JJ’s Customer Service Officer, you will support our depot operations in the New South Wales region; based at our Glendenning office.

Join a great team that prides itself on delivering outstanding customer service to our large commercial customer base.

You will have the ability to learn quickly and demonstrate a willingness to undertake any task at hand. Have excellent problem solving and time management, plus demonstrated high level customer service skills.

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

This position is a permanent, full-time Monday to Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and efficiently action inbound customer calls and enquiries

Provide professional customer service to both internal and external customers

Ability to prioritise and perform duties in a fast paced and varied role

Data entry

High volume customer interaction

Answering telephones, responding to email and portal enquiries

Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence ensuring timely responses and appropriate follow up

Facilitate flow of information between sales, operations, administration and management

Able to multi-task and demonstrate an enthusiasm and determination to perform duties in a fast paced and varied role

Other duties as requested

Demonstrate the ability to build rapport and relationships with all stakeholders

Commit to JJ’s Waste values and be willing to embrace workplace diversity

Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance

Well-developed people and relationship skills

ABOUT YOU

Customer Service / Call Centre experience is essential

Experience in a similar role – including high-volume customer support

Excellent data entry skills and an eye for detail

Able to work well within a team and autonomously

Experience in transport, logistics or service industry - highly regarded but not essential

Want to be part of a culture of learning and continuous improvement
