A values-driven organisation, Dexterous manages and runs internal finance teams for our clients. We do this by engaging a global workforce to provide our clients with a highly scalable, full-service financial team. Through this refreshing and innovative approach, we empower businesses to realise their impact.

About the Role:

Ready to lead the future of AI in accounting and bookkeeping? We're hiring a Product Lead to drive the vision, build the roadmap, and launch our intelligent automation platform. You'll blend strategy with hands-on execution, owning discovery, delivery, and go-to-market, while partnering closely with the Executive team, end customers, our managed finance team and technical team of engineers. Your mission will be to deliver AI products that solve real customer problems and create measurable business impact.

What’s In It for You:

· Positive, purpose-led culture – Join a collaborative team that values initiative, impact, and authenticity.

· Flexibility – Work hybrid or remotely with a focus on outcomes, not hours.

· Competitive package – Strong remuneration with performance-based incentives.

· Ownership & autonomy – Lead meaningful work with full support from the executive team.

Responsibilities include:

Discovery

Define what to build and why, ensuring high-impact features aligned with business goals and user needs.

User & Market Research: Conduct interviews, surveys, and competitive analysis to uncover customer pain points and market opportunities.

Problem Framing & Ideation: Translate insights into clear problem statements; facilitate ideation workshops with stakeholders.

Prioritization & Roadmapping: Establish a hypothesis-driven framework (e.g., RICE) to prioritize features; maintain a validated product roadmap.

Prototyping & Validation: Collaborate with UX/UI to create clickable prototypes and MVPs; run usability tests and A/B experiments to validate assumptions.

Delivery

Ensure efficient, agile execution from requirements through launch, maintaining quality and velocity.

Project Management: Own the end-to-end delivery, including but not limited to manage project costs, timeline, risks and resourcing.

Detailed Requirements & User Stories: Write clear acceptance criteria and user stories; split epics into sprints.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with Engineering, Data Science, QA, and UX to unblock dependencies and maintain cadence.

Performance Monitoring: Define KPIs (e.g., engagement rate, latency); instrument analytics; monitor dashboards; drive continuous improvement.

Go to Market

Launch effectively and drive adoption, collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Launch Strategy & Positioning: Craft messaging, value propositions, and segmentation for each release.

Customer Onboarding & Success: Work with internal teams to design onboarding flows, training materials, and feedback loops.

Feedback & Iteration: Collect user feedback post-launch; define quick wins and enhancements for subsequent cycles.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

· 8+ years in B2B SaaS product management, ideally with a software development background and a track record of end-to-end ownership, particularly in finance technology, AI, or related fields.

· Proven ability to develop and execute strategic product initiatives that drive business growth and competitive advantage.

· Previous start up experience preferred (Zero to one journey) or growth stage.

· Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, resourceful, and action orientated, with a natural curiosity for AI.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to inform decisions and optimize product performance.

· Leadership and team management capabilities, with a collaborative working style.

If you are passionate about leveraging AI to revolutionize the financial industry and have the skills and experience outlined above, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your resume and cover letter to [email protected], outlining your relevant experience and why you are interested in joining Dexterous.

We are committed to promoting diversity and inclusion within Dexterous, fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and respected. We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds and are dedicated to providing equitable access to all employment opportunities. Flexibility is fundamental to our culture, and we are open to discuss accommodations to support individual needs, differences, disabilities, and working arrangements. Please inform us of any adjustments needed during the recruitment process – we would be happy to oblige.
