We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Project Officer to work closely with the CEO and Special Projects Manager and help deliver a Nursing Education Grant, keeping the project running smoothly behind the scenes. This role is key to enabling the successful delivery of the project.

This role requires a blend of precision, adaptability, and initiative. You’ll thrive if you’re naturally organised, calm under pressure, tech-savvy, and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced, purpose-led environment.

This is a part-time role (0.5 FTE), ideally suited to someone seeking flexible hours, such as working school hours. It is a 12-month fixed term contract (grant-funded).

Liver Foundation is the peak body covering all liver and hepato-biliary diseases in Australia. We are a national charity aimed at reducing the impact of liver disease for all people in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Project Support

· Event support including sourcing venues, arranging catering and RSVPs

· Travel and accommodation bookings

· Coordinate governance and stakeholder meetings, including agendas, papers and minutes

· Anticipate and respond to administrative needs proactively

· Maintain confidentiality and a high level of professionalism at all times

· Support timely reporting on projects and grants

· Assist with document and records management, including data entry

· Track key deadlines and action items for the CEO and leadership team

· Support internal team coordination as needed

· Represent the Foundation in a professional and respectful manner

General

· Work flexibly, independently and collaboratively
