Active Eight is a premium paediatric therapy hub located in the riverside suburb of Toowong. We offer a holistic range of therapies including occupational therapy, speech pathology, psychology, physiotherapy, and dietetics to a client base of 500+ children and adolescents fondly referred to as our “members”. We are seeking an experienced full-time Practice Assistant / Allied Health Receptionist to join us and take our client experience to the next level! Best described as the heart of the organisation, some of the day-to-day responsibilities of the practice assistant includes:

Managing the calendars of an in-demand therapy team through our practice management software - Splose.

Responding to enquiries from new and existing clients (in person, over the phone, via email) in a timely and professional manner

Liaising with internal and external stakeholders around appointments, bookings, and logistics

Providing a positive and supportive experience whilst undertaking front-of-house duties

Providing invoicing and process development and implementation support

Working collaboratively alongside the Practice Manager

Highly desirable

Experience using a healthcare software/CRM

Experience in a busy/growing practice is desirable

Communicating professionally, positively, and with attention to detail - particularly around spelling, grammar, phone demeanor, back of house conversations

Applying a flexible, solutions-focused, and empathetic approach

Finding joy and satisfaction in maintaining a well-organized, hygienic, and tidy environment.
