About the role:
Contribute to patient care as part of the Allied Health Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast and Mount Morgan team by providing clinical support tasks under the direction and supervision of an allied health professional.
- The Allied Health Assistant receives delegation and direction from the appropriate allied health professional supervising the clinical task.
- The Allied Health Assistant provides feedback to the delegating allied health professional on the outcome of intervention.
- The Allied Health Assistant is line managed by the Team Leader Allied Health Assistants.
About you:
This position requires the incumbent to undertake manual handling tasks that may include pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, reaching above shoulder height and reaching to the floor.
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification (i.e., Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent) would be highly regarded.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $82,130 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $34.53 - $36.30 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
