An opportunity is now available to join a growing and dynamic Global Freight Forwarder who have recently increased their Business Development team and require a commercially minded Sales Support Executive.

The Role

This newly created role is perfect for an experienced proactive and engaged Sales Support Coordinator who can enhance, develop, and maintain this important function within this growing Freight Forwarder. The successful candidate will have strong administrative and reporting skills and the ability to maintain quotations and tariffs on a national basis. Adept knowledge and understanding of agent partners and networks as well as the ability to maintain relationships with local external service providers will lead you to securing this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with overseas offices to provide quotations for free hand business & track conversion.
• Source rates and assemble proposals for new business in collaboration with Sales Executives
• Work with Sales Representatives on new customer requirements
• Assist to facilitate onboarding of customers from new business sales into customer service
• Assist to update rates in CW1 system for autorating
• Work with Sales Team on other tasks as required

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of our clients needs and expectations, be an active team player, professional and highly reliable.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with sound Freight Forwarding knowledge and who understands INCO terms, rates, pricing, and margins. You will also possess great interpersonal, communication skills alongside solid problem-solving skills. They can demonstrate initiative and has an eye for detail and accuracy.

Up to $95,000 + Super (pending experience)
