About the role
This is a casual disability support worker role with KickAss Support Services, a leading provider of high-quality aged and disability support services in the Rockhampton region.

As a disability support worker, you will play a crucial part in empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

What you'll be doing;

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks

Providing social, recreational, and community access support to enable clients to pursue their interests and goals

Advocating for client rights and ensuring their needs are met with compassion and respect

Contributing to the development and implementation of individualized support plans

Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with organizational and regulatory requirements

Participating in team meetings and training to continuously improve service delivery

You should hold or be willing to obtain:

A Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or Community Services or an equivalent qualification

Experience in providing person-centred support to people with a range of disabilities

A valid and current NDIS Worker Screening Card

A valid and current Blue Card for working with children

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients

A passionate, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting individuals with diverse needs

A valid and current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 or equivalent) & CPR

A valid and current Queensland driver's license
