Practice Nurse – Treatment Room / Health Assessments

Location: Crown West Medical Practice, Wollongong

Are you a dedicated Registered or Enrolled Nurse looking for a supportive team environment with an excellent work-life balance? Join our team and make a meaningful difference in patient care.

We are looking for a nurse to work Monday, Wednesday & Fridays, mornings will be spent in the treatment room and afternoons will be performing Health assessments (this can change depending on the needs of the practice).

Key Responsibilities

Perform treatment room procedures, including immunisations, wound care, ear irrigation, minor procedures, IUD insertions, and cold chain management.

Manage vaccine ordering and stock control.

Conduct health assessments, GP Management Plans (GPMPs), and other routine patient care tasks as required.

Assist doctors and healthcare professionals with clinical procedures.

Administer vaccinations, injections, and other treatments per medical advice.

Provide patient education and promote healthy lifestyle practices.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Ensure clinical areas are well-stocked and compliant with safety standards.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

About You

We are seeking a compassionate and professional Registered Nurse who possesses:

Current AHPRA registration as a Division 1 or 2 Nurse.

Strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality patient-centred care.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Proficiency in medical software and technology.

A commitment to ongoing professional development.

While general practice experience is beneficial, it is not essential.

Experience with Best Practice an advantage but not a necessity
