About the role

Join the dynamic healthcare team at TMC as a General Practice Nurse. In this part-time role in Toormina & Sawtell NSW 2452, you will play a vital part in providing comprehensive nursing care and support to patients in a general practice setting. As a General Practice Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care while collaborating with the wider medical team.

What you'll be doing

Providing nursing care and support to patients of all ages, including health assessments, immunisations, wound care, assisting with procedures and chronic disease management

Assisting with the coordination of patient appointments and ensuring smooth clinic operations

Collaborating with general practitioners and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated, holistic care

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation

Participating in continuous professional development and contributing to the ongoing improvement of nursing practices

What we're looking for

Registered Nurse with a current and valid AHPRA registration

We will accept someone with no GP experience if you are willing to learn in a general practice or primary care setting

Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and other relevant technology

Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
