Seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team as a practice nurse.

Part-time position offered, full time available for the right candidate, with an initial probation period of 6 months no weekends required.

General Practice nursing experience is highly desirable

Your role will include but is not limited to :

Patient assessments, including updating the patient file, taking observations, ECG, Spirometry and Ear Syringing.

Stock control and ordering supplies

Immunisations which can be part of the national immunisation program and travel vaccines

Providing wound care services

Assisting GPs with procedures

Providing patient education on a range of different topics

Supporting patients with chronic disease management by helping create management plans and monitoring progress towards their health goals

Help the practice with the different accreditation activities

Be involved in clinical discussions and contribute ideas towards improving the quality of practice services

Equipment sterilisation

Cervical Screening (preferred but not essential)

Iron Infusions (preferred but not essential)
