Dennis Road Medical Centre is a small, privately owned and orientated medical practice committed to providing comprehensive medical care to the residents of Springwood and surrounding areas. Our team consists of three doctors, two nurses and administration team members.

We are seeking another registered or enrolled nurse with the experience and confidence to perform all aspects of relevant nursing tasks in a GP practice, including (but not limited to) ... patient triage, NIP and private vaccinations, ECGs, Spirometry, wound care, iron infusions, sterilisation of instruments, advising patients of blood test results, developing patient care plans, managing the clinic's medical stores and assisting doctors with procedures.

In extremely busy times (not too often) you may also need to assist the reception team.

A knowledge of Best Practice software is an advantage.

As the practice nurse you will need good communication skills, a professional demeanor, organisational skills and a team-based attitude.

Qualifications & experience

· Qualified RN or EN

· Proficient written and verbal skills

· If not already proficient in the below tasks and responsibilities, you must be interested and willing to learn.

Duties include but not limited to: Chronic disease management plans/Preventative health plans - Triage - Childhood/Adult immunisations - injections - Wound dressings - ECGs - Assisting doctors with clinical procedures - sterilisation and maintenance of clinical equipment - Cold chain management - Infection control - Assisting with other practice duties as required.
