About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the nursing team at the Northern Beaches GP Superclinic in Deeragun, Queensland as a casual Practice Nurse (RN). As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, comprehensive primary care to our diverse patient community.

What you'll be doing

Assisting doctors and other healthcare providers in the delivery of primary care services

Performing routine clinical procedures such as wound care, injections, and health assessments

Educating patients on health promotion and disease prevention strategies

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

Coordinating patient referrals and liasing with external healthcare providers

Ensuring the clinic's medical equipment and supplies are well-stocked and maintained

Adhering to all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures

What we're looking for

Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based nursing practice

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team

A genuine passion for providing compassionate, patient-centred care
