About the Role:

Mudgeeraba Family Medical Centre is looking for a friendly, dedicated, efficient Practice Nurse (RN or EN) to join our team. Our nurse helps supports chronic disease management, women's health, infusions, wound care, ECGs, spirometry and injections, vaccinations and more. We are seeking a nurse for a part time position working 2 days per week with a view to increasing. We offer excellent pay rate, opportunities to participate in health programs and initiatives run by the practice and the chance to follow your passions in primary health.

Duties include but not limited to:

Chronic Disease Management

Health Assessments

Child Immunisations

General immunisations

Vaccine Ordering

Sterillization

Wound dressings/care

ECGs, spirometry

Ear Syringing

Triaging

Infection Control Management

Maintaining recall and reminder system

Cold chain management

Maintaining the operation of practice policies and procedures to meet agreed standards in patient care

Assistance in delivery of premium customer service and enhancing the image of the practice with health professionalism

About you:

Current AHPRA registration

Previous experience in Chronic Disease Management and Immunisations

Previous General Practice experience

Best Practice software knowledge (desirable)

Ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment
