Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking for a friendly and supportive team in a high-quality general practice setting?

Paddington Medical Centre is a well-established, privately owned clinic in inner-city Brisbane. We’re currently seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our treatment room team in a permanent part-time capacity.

This opportunity has become available due to the upcoming retirement of our very experienced and long-serving treatment room lead nurse. You'll be stepping into a highly valued role with strong systems in place and a supportive team environment.

About the Role

This hands-on clinical role is based in our busy treatment room, working alongside a team of 9 GPs, experienced nurses, and dedicated admin staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Wound care and dressing management

Immunisations (childhood, travel, flu, COVID)

Developing and managing catch-up immunisation schedules

Vaccine storage and cold chain management

ECGs

Patient triage and assessment

Assisting with minor procedures

Coordinating patient recalls and reminders

Equipment sterilisation and infection control

Stock control and ordering

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

Experience in a general practice setting (essential)

Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail

The ability to work independently and collaboratively

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Great time management and adaptability

A warm, patient-centred approach
