The Role: As a Support Services Worker in our Aged Care home, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents by delivering high-quality cleaning and laundry services. Your work supports resident dignity and comfort, helping to create a true sense of home. You’ll build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff and contribute to our values of respect, compassion, and excellence.

What you will do:

• Perform thorough daily cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces in line with infection control standards
• Ensure all cleaning schedules and checklists are completed and documented
• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies, including handwashing stations
• Manage laundry processes including collection, washing, drying, ironing, folding and return of resident clothing and facility linen
• Check and label residents’ personal items to prevent loss or mix-ups
• Operate laundry equipment safely and in accordance with procedures while maintaining a clean and orderly laundry area
• Communicate any concerns about resident wellbeing or environmental risks to care staff

What you will bring:

• Currently hold an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain) – MANDATORY

• Valid Working rights in Australia - MANDATORY
• Hospitality or Customer Service experience in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassion and Empathy
• An understanding of resident rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes (highly regarded but not essential)
