The Role

The Onsite Laundry Attendant is responsible for the cleaning, ironing, repairing, and maintaining of all staff uniforms, table linens, napery, and other venue-specific textile items. This role plays a key part in ensuring our team and venue look polished, professional, and ready to deliver outstanding service every day.

The role will require approximately 20-25 hours per week, with the working hours primarily between 6 am and 11 am, Tuesday through Saturday.

Key Responsibilities

Wash, dry, press, and fold staff uniforms and venue linens in line with fabric care instructions and hygiene standards.

Perform minor repairs and alterations to uniforms, including replacing buttons, stitching hems, or fixing tears as required.

Maintain laundry equipment and ensure the laundry area remains clean, organised, and safe at all times.

Keep accurate records of inventory, laundry cycles, damaged or missing items, and repair needs.

Work closely with the management team to ensure uniforms are available for new staff or special events on time.

Identify opportunities for improving linen longevity and fabric care practices.

About You:

Previous laundry, housekeeping, or garment care experience preferred (hospitality or commercial setting ideal).

Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.

Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Knowledge of garment and fabric care, stain treatment, and basic sewing/alteration skills.

A commitment to maintaining high hygiene and cleanliness standards.

Discreet, professional, and respectful of team routines and venue operations.
