We are currently seeking applications for a Senior Cyber Security Advisor to join the Office of the Chief Information Officer at the Department of Treasury and Finance for a period up to 12 months.
The Senior Cyber Security Advisor is responsible for the provision of specialist advice and expertise to management of the division and department. The Senior Cyber Security Advisor will support the cyber security capability and engagement function within the Cyber Security Directorate including working with stakeholders across the SA Government cyber security community.
To be successful you will:
Lead across government cyber security capability, awareness and engagement initiatives to enhance knowledge of cyber security across SA Government.
Enhance the level of cyber literacy across government through the delivery of training and awareness programs.
Generate comprehensive reports and executive briefs to elevate cyber security awareness across the government workforce, promoting a heightened understanding of cyber security principles and a commitment to responsible cyber security practices.
Provide specialist advice across a range of areas such as cyber skills, risk management and cyber security.
Maintain a current understanding of emerging security threats by monitoring a range of industry information sources and networks.
Deliver key initiatives to uplift cyber security for the South Australian Government.
Exercise responsibility for coordinating of cyber security training programs across government.
Coordinate with other state and commonwealth government agencies on awareness and capability activities.
