The Role:

We are seeking to employ a hands-on Building Manager to work on-site at one or more of our managed buildings. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and with limited supervision. You will be an integral part of our growing team and will be responsible for the day to day operational aspects of a unit complex. You will be supported by and work closely with the Strata manager and Facilities management team to provide outstanding service to our clients.

You will be responsible for:

• Overseeing contractors including ensuring they carry out works as required.
• Following all building procedures
• Engaging directly with Owners and building occupiers.
• Providing assistance to the Strata Manager on annual expenditure
• Ensuring contractors fulfil obligations
• Preparing and presenting monthly activity reports outlining works completed for the month.
• Attending scheduled Committee Meetings and Annual General Meetings

We are ideally looking for someone who has

• Prior experience in the property or building industry would be ideal but not necessary.
• Great communication skills
• Strong customer service skills, including development and presentation of written reports
• The ability to problem solve
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated and can take ownership of their work
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to be hands-on an undertake minor repairs where required
