Technical Account Manager

Our client is a category-defining and award-winning Global Fintech that has disrupted the market for years, continuously reshaping how consumers shop and how brands drive conversion. They are a brand we all know and love, with over 16 million engaged users globally and growing.

They are looking to bring on a Technical Account Manager in their Australian team. This role can be based in either their Melbourne or Sydney office locations.

This would be an initial 6 month day-rate contract role.

This is a Technical Account Manager role, where you'll need to possess strong technical troubleshooting ability (see more on this and the required skillset below).

What you'll bring?

  • You must have the ability to write your own SQL queries. In this role you will have direct access to databases
  • You must have strong API integration knowledge
  • You must have the capability to read and understand logs used in monitoring tools (this company use DataDog, but it's ok if you've worked with similar tools like Sumo Logic or Splunk)
  • Ability to read and understand HTML, CSS, Javasrcipt. This is for troubleshooting purposes. You do not need to be able to code.
  • You come from a Technical Account Management role / background
  • Ideally you have experience with eCommerce (Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce etc) AND/ OR payment platforms
  • FinTech and B2B experience is ideal
  • Strong technical troubleshooting ability
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Project management capabilities, the ability to handle multiple priorities at once
  • Customer-first mindset
  • Both a technical and a commercial awareness
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be adaptable 'on the run'
  • Go-getter attitude where you take initiative, ownership and responsibility

What you'll be doing?

  • Be part of a Global Technical Account Management team, and report into a Lead Technical Account Manager in Australia
  • Be the main technical point of contact for this company's B2B partners / customers (retailers), where you'll be assigned accounts to own and work with. You'll be seen as a key technical advisor for all of the integrations and optmisations inside their businesses
  • Driving the technical relationship with your assigned accounts
  • Work closely with Account Management and other customer-facing teams internally to ensure seamless operational support and satisfaction amongst this company's B2B customers
  • Besides working with these B2B customers (retailers), you'll also have internal stakeholders you'll be collaborating and working with including; sales, account management, product and software engineering teams / team members
  • Act as a bridge between these B2B customers (retailers) and internal teams
  • Play a key role in this company's product adoption and utilisation amongst its various B2B customers, and by extension play a key role in the success of these B2B customers
  • Monitor integration health (using the likes of DataDog to review logs and understand if any issues are occurring)
  • Focus on incident management. Helping with remediation, providing root cause analysis as well as accurate and timely status updates for support tickets
