The Role

We are seeking an Accounts Officer to join our team for an immediate start. This role is reponsible for making sure our subcontractors and suppliers are paid correctly and on time and for supporting our Accounts and Finance Managers perform all aspects of the business accounting functions.

This is a full time role working Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Manage accounts payable, from purchase orders, invoice receipt, paperless invoice processing and some invoice data entry into our accounting software MYOB Exo.

End of month accounts payable processes;

Assist with client invoice preparation;

To be considered for this role you will need:

Organisation and attention to detail

A love of numbers and processes

Ability to juggle multiple priorities and demands

Strong work ethic

Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Good grammar and communication skills

Role Requirements

Previous experience in accounts payable is essential

Construction industry experience is highly desirable

Most imporantly a willingness to learn, grow and own this role
