The purpose of this role is to organise the day to day allocations of the business, maximise fleet utilisation, meet customer needs and requirements and minimise unnecessary costs. Ideally this is a full time role based on 40 - 45hrs per week (depending volumes) - Monday to Friday.
We have a Supervisor role available at our customers site in Wingfield. The roles involves:
Coordination & organisation of all fleet maintenance with the Workshop in relation to Fleet defects and maintaining the fleet (inc tyres)
Monitor and support development of load and route efficiency improvements
Assist in the cross utilisation of operators across multiple contracts
Documenting Load Restraint Audits & Safe Act Observations
Monitoring and meeting KPI's for contract
Completing Safety, Compliance and other paperwork processes (when required)
Support to the Site Manager
To secure this role you must have:
Background / understanding of allocation roles or functions relating to local deliveries (steel products desirable)
Prior experience in contract fleet work
Demonstrated excellence of understanding of the Load Restraint Guidelines (incl safe loading / unloading and securing of steel product guidelines)
Knowledge of the greater Adelaide area
Good communication skills including customer service skills
Good systems based approach to manage own time and task diversity
Focus on safe systems of work and supporting a system of safe work for pre-planning and contingency planning.
Confidence and competence in working in MS Office products - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
The desire to be part of a diverse team
Heavy Vehicle and / or High Risk Work Licence (class LF) is highly regarded but not essential.
