About the role

Join the LinkSA team as a Bus Operations Supervisor based in Nuriootpa, SA. In this full-time position, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of the LinkSA bus network, overseeing a team of bus drivers and providing exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the LinkSA bus fleet, ensuring on-time departures and arrivals

Monitor driver performance and provide coaching and feedback to maintain high standards of customer service and safety

Liaise with customers, stakeholders and other departments to address any service-related issues

Assist with the rostering and scheduling of bus drivers to meet service requirements

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies

Contribute to the continuous improvement of bus operations through data analysis utilising our network software tool, Transport Me and TIMS

What we're looking for

Significant experience in a bus operation, public transport supervisory role or the transport industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle operational challenges

Thorough knowledge of public transport regulations including NHVR, safety procedures and customer service best practices

Proficient in using relevant technology and systems to monitor and report on bus operations

Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, to support the 24/7 nature of the business
