We are currently seeking an experienced and service-driven Hospitality Supervisor to join our team at Woodside. This pivotal role will oversee daily operations across our cellar door, restaurant, luxury accommodation, and bespoke event offerings.
About the Role
Reporting to the Hospitality Manager, the Hospitality Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence and an elevated guest experience in all facets of our hospitality services. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to service excellence aligned with the Bird in Hand ethos.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support the hospitality team, including front-of-house and guest services
Oversee daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, shift scheduling and staff allocations
Uphold and maintain premium service standards across all hospitality touchpoints
Manage guest relations and resolve service issues with professionalism and discretion
Monitor inventory and stock levels, liaising with suppliers as required
Ensure ongoing compliance with WHS, food safety, and hygiene regulations
Support recruitment, onboarding, training and development of new and existing staff
Collaborate with management to implement service enhancements and support event delivery
Maintain accurate reporting including attendance, incidents, and customer feedback
About You
We are seeking a confident, adaptable and solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, premium environment. You will demonstrate:
A minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a supervisory or senior hospitality role
Strong leadership and communication skills with a collaborative management style
Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
Proven capacity to lead by example in a hands-on, service-led environment
A solid understanding of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
Flexibility to work across weekdays, weekends, public and school holidays
A passion for hospitality, premium experiences, and customer engagement
Residency in or willingness to relocate to the Adelaide Hills is preferred
Location: Woodside, Adelaide Hills
