Position: Rostering Officer

Location: Caloundra, Sunshine Coast of Queensland

Due to continued growth we are now looking for a Rostering Officer to join our growing team in Queensland.

Our Sunshine Coast office supports Members across Aged and NDIS from Caloundra to Gympie and Surrounds. Our mission at Home Care Assistance is to change the way the world ages. We provide older adults with quality care that enables them to live happier, healthier lives at home.

This is a full time position based in our Caloundra Office, the centralised rostering headquarters for our Sydney, Central Coast and Sunshine Coast regions.

Responsibilities of the Role:

Maintain precise records of rosters and attendance.

Acting as the vital conduit between the organization, our dedicated care workers, and our valued clients.

Skillfully managing roster queries, urgent shift changes, and filling vacant shifts promptly.

Monitoring hours diligently to ensure compliance with industry standards and legal obligations.

Providing consistent, responsive communication via phone and email to clients, staff, and agencies.

Producing published rosters for our carers 2 weeks in advance in accordance with SCHADS and Part Time employee contractual obligations.

Provide on-call coverage for after-hours roster as needed.

What Attributes You’ll Bring

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for care and is driven to make a meaningful impact. The ideal candidate will have:

Aged Care Experience: While formal qualifications in aged care are desirable, they are not compulsory. What matters most is your dedication and experience in the field.

Customer Service Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and deliver high-quality service. Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.

Attention to Detail: High-level administrative and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving prowess coupled with sharp analytical skills.

Commitment to Excellence: A strong commitment to meeting and exceeding care standards. Self-motivation, organizational prowess, and a results-driven mindset.

Prior experience in scheduling and/or the aged care sector is highly valued.
