We're a small, passionate team looking for an energetic and experienced Retail Assistant Leader (2IC) to help lead our store and our crew. If you love a fast-paced environment and enjoy leading by example, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing (Your Role):

As our 2IC, you'll be the Store Manager's right-hand person. Your key responsibilities will be:

Lead the Team: Guide, train, and motivate our retail staff to provide amazing customer service and hit their goals.

Run the Floor: Help manage daily operations, from opening and closing the store to making sure everything runs smoothly.

Manage Stock: Oversee inventory, merchandising, and ensure our shelves are always stocked with the products our customers love.

Drive Sales: Contribute to sales strategies and promotions to help the store succeed.

Customer Care: Ensure every customer has a great experience and professionally handle any issues that arise.

Keep it Tidy: Maintain a clean, safe, and organised store, including the stockroom and dock area.

Are You the Right Fit? (What We're Looking For):

We are looking for someone with experience in a busy, hands-on retail setting. You'll be a great fit if:

You have experience in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment like Kmart, IGA, Big W, The Reject Shop, Costco, a busy fruit market, or similar stores.

You're a hands-on leader who isn't afraid to get stuck in, work on the floor, and lead by example.

You've led at least a department, a section of a store, or an entire store. (Reference verification needed)

You are physically capable of handling the demands of a busy retail role, which includes:

Safely lifting and moving items up to 20kg.

Standing for extended periods.

Comfortably and safely using long ladders.

You have proven experience using a pallet jack.

You are reliable and can get to the store for opening and closing shifts.

You have a flexible schedule and can work a mix of days, evenings, and weekends.

You have full working rights in Australia.
