A Leading Service Provider is searching for an Experienced Facilities Candidate to join a busy contract on a Casual Basis

Your new role

As Assistant Facilities Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the smooth operation of a dynamic and diverse property portfolio. You'll oversee day-to-day maintenance activities, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with service-level agreements across all sites. This is a fast-paced role that demands keen organisational skills, technical understanding, and a customer-centric mindset

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise scheduled and reactive maintenance across multiple properties
  
• Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers
  
• Oversee contractor compliance with safety, environmental, and legal standards
  
• Monitor performance against KPIs and ensure service delivery standards are met
  
• Support budgeting and cost control for maintenance operations
  
• Liaise with tenants and internal stakeholders to resolve facility issues promptly
  
• Assist with procurement and contract negotiations for maintenance services
  
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and contractor performance
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in facilities or property management, ideally within a high-volume portfolio
• Strong knowledge of building systems, repairs, and preventative maintenance
• Excellent communication and contractor negotiation skills
• Familiarity with facilities management software and compliance tools
• Understanding of Work Health & Safety (WHS) and risk management protocols
• Ability to multitask and stay organised in a fast-moving environment
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or certifications in building services, property, or facility management
