This is a full-time, permanent role where no two days are the same – you’ll be working with hay samples, feed testing systems, and data that keeps Aussie farmers informed and thriving.
What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to our Contracts, Logistics & Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Processing and testing hay and commodity feed samples
Using and learning lab equipment/software (training provided)
Drying, grinding, and preparing samples for analysis
Maintaining accurate records and databases
Coordinating invoices and test results with growers and the team
Purchasing lab supplies and preparing sample kits
Ensuring a clean, safe, and contamination-free work environment
Assisting with continuous improvement in lab processes
Manage incoming inventory through the app and CRM, allocate photos, cross check data and follow up with inspectors as required
Supporting broader administrative tasks as needed
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organisational and admin skills
Clear communication and a friendly, professional manner
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Confidence using email, Excel, and basic computer systems
Willingness to work in a dusty environment – PPE provided
Bonus points if you have experience in agri-science, lab work, or the agriculture sector – but full training will be provided!
