Comcare has ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies for APS5 Claims Managers and APS6 Senior Claims Managers in the Claims Operations Team, in Canberra or Melbourne. Full Time or Part Time are available.

Team Overview
Claims Operations is a large, multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality claims management services. The team is made up of Claims Managers, Senior Claims Managers, and Employer Account Managers, with support from Injury Managers.
The team collaborates to achieve positive health and return to work outcomes for employees and employers. Each Claims Operations team is responsible for managing claims within their assigned Australian Public Service (APS) portfolios, agencies, or specialised claim areas. They are accountable in maintaining strong relationships with the agencies in their portfolio and for achieving positive outcomes for the claims they oversee.

In this role, you’ll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to supporting recovery and return-to-work outcomes for injured workers. You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of claims, working closely with claimants, employers, and medical providers to deliver positive, timely, and sustainable results.
Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
- APS5 - Certificates or competencies in relevant disciplines such as claims or injury management, law, health, business administration or finance.
- APS6 - Tertiary qualifications in relevant disciplines such as claims or injury management, law, health, business administration or finance.
Security Clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance. In some cases, a higher security clearance at the Negative Vetting level 1 may be required.
