The Opportunity

In this role, you will join a small and supportive corporate services team, working closely with HR and finance functions. You'll be responsible for payroll processing using Aurion, supporting a stable and engaged workforce. You’ll also play a vital part in a range of HR and administrative tasks, from recruitment and onboarding to managing workstation assessments and employee contracts giving you variety and the chance to broaden your skills.

The Role

The core function of your role will be the delivery of accurate and timely payroll services using Aurion. Key responsibilities include:

• Process fortnightly payroll for staff and transmit payroll variations in addition to managing complex payroll tasks in line with legislation
• Provide pay-related advice and administrative support to stakeholders
• Organise staff car parking and support Corporate Services
• Manage the HR inbox and prepare employee contracts
• Conduct police checks, Working with Vulnerable Persons checks, and produce reports
• Handle payroll reporting, reconciliations, and audits
• Assist with superannuation, taxation, and leave management
• Maintain employee records and respond to payroll queries
• Support continuous process improvements

The Ideal Person

You are a detail-oriented payroll professional who thrives in a structured and compliance-focused environment. Your previous experience in government or a similar setting means you're confident navigating enterprise agreements, legislation, and complex payroll scenarios.

You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a close-knit team. You take pride in accuracy, are proactive in solving issues before they escalate, and understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion. Salary / Rate

• $85k - $91k + Super
