About the Role
We’re looking for a driven Business Development Manager who knows how to sell and loves the chase. You’ll be responsible for driving new business across a wide range of industries by owning the sales cycle from lead to close. You’ll be supported by an SDR and leads team, but this is a role for a true hunter - someone who thrives on conversations, cold calls, and hitting targets.
This is a remote role for an Australia-based professional, with occasional in-person catch-ups (1–4 times per year) — usually in Sydney.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business acquisition through outbound sales (cold calling, outreach, referrals)
Work and convert leads from our SDR and inbound marketing efforts
Manage your own pipeline using HubSpot (or similar CRM)
Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers (owners, executives, managers)
Maintain accurate contact data and pipeline stages
Close deals and hand off new clients to our operations team for onboarding and support
Collaborate directly with the MD and GM on strategy, insights, and process improvements

What We’re Looking For
Must-Have:
3+ years of sales experience (BDM, Account Executive, or similar)
Proven success in outbound sales and cold calling
Strong communication and confidence when dealing with senior business leaders
Comfortable managing your own time and pipeline in a remote environment
Experience selling services (not just products)
Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRMs
Nice-to-Have:
Exposure to BPO, recruitment, or staffing industries
Experience dealing across a variety of industries or business types
KPIs and Targets
Standard sales activity metrics will apply (calls, meetings booked, pipeline value)
High performance = high earnings - uncapped commission means your results speak for themselves
