The Salary range for this position is currently $26.51 to $28.62 per hour. Hourly rate based on experience.

About the Role
We’re on the lookout for caring and reliable individuals to join our close-knit team at Crows Nest; located just a 40 minute drive from Toowoomba.. As an Environmental Service Worker, you’ll support residents through a mix of hospitality, cleaning, and laundry duties. Every task you do helps enhance the comfort and dignity of those who call our facility home.
You’ll be hands-on across:
- Preparing and serving meals
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, dining and resident areas
- Handling laundry and linen services
This role suits someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and brings a positive, team-first attitude to everything they do.
What we’re looking for
- Strong communication skills
- A willingness to learn new things
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- A genuine interest in contributing to resident comfort and wellbeing
Previous experience in hospitality or cleaning is great, but not essential—training and support will be provided to the right person.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need
- A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Evidence of COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (if applicable)
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and kitchen duties
- Basic computer literacy (e.g. Outlook, web systems)
Bonus if you have
- A Certificate II in Cookery or relevant experience in kitchen, laundry or cleaning services
- Previous experience in aged care or community support
