The Salary range for this position is currently $33.27 to $36.75 per hour. Hourly rate based on experience.

About the Role
As a Personal Care Worker, you will assist residents with daily living activities including mobility, hygiene, meals and social support. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring residents feel safe, respected and well cared for. You’ll also support residents with medication (if qualified), participate in care planning and contribute to a positive and nurturing environment.
About You
Are you passionate about supporting the wellbeing of elderly residents? We are currently seeking Permanent Casual Personal Care Workers to join our team at Churches of Christ, Crows Nest Aged Care Service, located just 40 minutes from Toowoomba.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a compassionate and collaborative team who are focused on delivering person-centred care in a homely, supportive environment. If you have a strong sense of empathy, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working as part of a team – we would love to hear from you.
What you can bring to the team
We're looking for people who genuinely care about improving the lives of the elderly and are ready to contribute to our mission of Christ-inspired care. You'll bring warmth, reliability and a team-focused attitude, along with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately.
To be successful, you’ll need:
- A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent (essential)
- Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain
- Up-to-date COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and work within a team environment
- Desirable: HLTHPS006 – Assist clients with medication, First Aid/CPR, Certificate IV in Ageing Support
