About the role

We're seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join the team at O'Leary Roofing NSW Pty Ltd in our Smeaton Grange, NSW location. This is a casual position that will play a vital role in supporting our organisation's accounting and financial operations.

What you'll be doing

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

Reconcile bank statements and maintain detailed financial records

Prepare and submit Business Activity Statements (BAS)

Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports

Liaise with accountant with any tax related items

Provide general administrative support as needed

What we're looking for

At least 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably in a small business setting

Strong proficiency with accounting software such as MYOB

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with financial data

Solid understanding of Australian accounting standards and tax requirements

Strong organisational and time management skills

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
