The Role
We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to work a very flexible 8-16 hours per week, providing essential financial support to our business. The successful candidate will manage key bookkeeping tasks using Xero, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform bank reconciliations in Xero to ensure accurate financial records.

Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) in compliance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) requirements.

Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices, payments, and supplier reconciliations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Xero.

Assist with ad-hoc financial tasks as required.

Skills and Experience

Proven experience as a bookkeeper with expertise in Xero software.

Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations, BAS preparation, and accounts payable management.

Strong understanding of Australian tax and compliance requirements.

High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.

Excellent time management and ability to work independently.

Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years of bookkeeping experience.

Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Strong communication skills and reliability.
