The Role

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our team. This role will suit someone who is confident managing end-to-end bookkeeping tasks and working independently across a client portfolio.

If you’re currently working as a bookkeeper, this role also offers on-the-job training and support to transition into an accounting position, should you wish to grow in that direction.

Responsibilities

Bank and account reconciliations

Accounts payable and receivable management

Uploading invoices from emails to Dext, from Dext to Xero.

Payroll processing and compliance (STP, superannuation, PAYG)

Monthly and quarterly reporting

Support with BAS preparation and lodgement

Liaising with clients to resolve queries and ensure timely reporting

About You

Minimum 2–3 years' bookkeeping or accounting experience

Advanced Xero skills – including reconciliations, payroll, and reporting

Experience using Dext, Ordermentum, and Square is essential

Solid understanding of Australian accounting and payroll practices

High attention to detail and accuracy

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
