About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Parts Storeman to join our team at Forks 4 U Pty Ltd in Mackay, Queensland. As a full-time Parts Storeman, you will be responsible for maintaining our extensive inventory of automotive parts and ensuring efficient order fulfilment for our customers.

What you'll be doing

Receiving, cataloguing and storing incoming parts and materials

Picking, packing and dispatching orders accurately and on time

Conducting regular stock takes and maintaining accurate inventory records

Assisting with the organisation and maintenance of the parts storage area

Providing excellent customer service and responding to inquiries

Collaborating with the sales and technical teams to ensure parts availability

Adhering to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Relevant experience in a parts storeman or inventory management role, preferably in the automotive industry

Strong organisational and time management skills with an eye for detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to providing high-quality support

Forklift operation experience and a valid forklift license ideal but not essential

Good computer skills, including proficiency in inventory management software
