The Company
Going Up is one of the largest Australian-owned and operated independent elevator companies—designing, manufacturing, installing, servicing, and modernising lifts along the east coast of Australia.
Due to strong and continuous growth, we’re looking for a dedicated Bookkeeper & Payroll - Staff Administrator to join our Head Office team in Brookvale, NSW.
This is a flexible part time role over 3 days per week, office-based position reporting directly to senior management.
The Role
This role is ideal for an experienced payroll officer or bookkeeper with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset. You’ll be responsible for managing weekly payroll for all staff within the company organisation, ensuring full compliance with superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax, and other statutory obligations.
In addition to payroll, you’ll support general bookkeeping activities and contribute to internal financial and administrative processes working with a highly experienced and responsive team.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end processing of weekly payroll for all staff across the company group.
Maintain accurate payroll records, process employee changes, and ensure timely superannuation and tax payments.
Reconcile payroll-related accounts including superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax.
Liaise with managers and employees regarding payroll matters and entitlements.
Assist with group-level bookkeeping tasks, including data consolidation, reconciliation, creditors and debtors
Support staff onboarding and offboarding from a payroll and admin perspective.
About You
Proven experience in payroll processing.
Experience with Reckon and Xero advantageous
Strong bookkeeping background with experience using accounting/payroll software.
High attention to detail and ability to manage time-sensitive tasks independently.
Professional communication and discretion when dealing with staff matters.
Experience in a similar role within a mid-sized company or group structure is highly regarded.
